Membership of Northern Oak is open to anyone who lives or works in North Tyneside.
Members of a Credit Union save regularly to give a pot of money to lend to other members at affordable rates. The income generated by lending helps to meet operating expenses, build reserves and pay savers dividends. By becoming a member you will be expected to save on a regular basis to ensure the long term prosperity of the Credit Union.
Saving with Northern Oak couldn’t be simpler. You can save as much or as little as you like, as often as you like. Pay in at our Service Points or direct from your bank by standing order. Payments can also be made at convenient local shops using Paypoint – simply request a card when you complete the application form.
To become a Member
Simply complete an application form and provide us with proof of your identity and address.
We are legally required to confirm your identity and address using prescribed documents. Please see the back of the application form for more details.
